I have been using Logitech products for decades. Keyboards, mice, cams. Last year I started an excursion using a mechanical keyboard, in this case a Keychron. They are neatly built but software sometimes caused confusion. I had to dump one as it was dead - very sad.
I accidentally found a bargain on Amazon for the Logitech MX Keys S for Mac in white/grey for only 35 Euros - because it came as bulk without a packaging which I would have dumped anyway. This is a nice typing although the opposite of a mechanical keyboard. It's silent and sleek.
Mice however where quite a pain in the last years. I own the MX Master series since version 2 and I loved the 3s. But all had the same issue, esp. on Macs: loosing connection and sometimes lagging and stuttering when moved. No way to control the pointer precisely. I switched to cable mice, here the G502 Hero as I wanted to keep the large amount of customizable buttons.
Several months ago Logitech released the 4th iteration of the MX Master with new materials and haptic feedback. The latter is not the interesting part for me and not even the new Smart Action Ring which is software only and also available for older models.
But due to my experience I hesitated to buy the new one - it's around 130 Euros which is quite a lot I think.
However, I gave it a try now as I again found quite a good price for a combo of a MX Keys S in black and also the MX Master 4 in black for a reasonable price.

I have my first whole day with it in the pocket and I have to say: I love the keys and the mouse feels quite like a palm stone. The most important: it' precise and I didn't have any drops although I use it with Bluetooth instead of the Bolt dongle.
Would I buy it again for other machines/setups to come? In general yes, but I don't have to: I run the MX Master 3s and also a MX Master 3 in my drum studio. I keep my spare 2s and 2 as backup. Can you get good peripherals that are cheaper? Yes of course, but sometimes you just stick to what you know for ages.
