What makes you a "good" supporter

I love Stackoverflow. I use it every day even if it's just to check if there are new questions tagged with "XPages". Sometimes I don't have the time to answer as most of the questions require some investigation and even programming / adapting the code that was provided.

I sometimes read questions that are very short and the problem is hardly explained. Maybe sometimes someone edits those questions or at least asks for additional information in a comment. Sometimes the question gets answered within the comments.

What I don't like are comments that are made only to beef the questioner while not giving any structural criticism on how to improve the question.

The most annoying "contributions" are when the same people are voting your question down. Don't get me wrong, I don't give a shit about my reputation points at all, but this is just infantile and not productive.

So please keep in mind who is asking there. These are people like you, struggling with something right now. There are short of time maybe. No one is perfect - neither you.
